A Chartered Quantity Surveyor having a minimum experience of 5 years in civil and infrastructure projects. Gulf experience is preferred but not essential. Candidate must be familiar with FIDIC standards and have excellent written and oral English communication skills. Prepare monthly activity wise costing sheet for the project. Prepare and submit Daily & weekly progress reports. Attend weekly and monthly progress meetings of the project with the client and consultant. Prepare and maintain Material Procurement Programme / schedule. Submit and get approval of all Material Approval Submittals (MAS) and Sub-contractor approvals including Civil, MEP and AGL. Coordinate and liaise with Engineer for approval of MAS and sub contractors & sub-contracts and minor work orders. Conduct or organize technical meetings with the suppliers / sub contractors and consultant. Coordinate with Quantity Surveyors for preparing Rate Analysis, material reconciliation and procurement quantities for materials. Coordinate with Material Engineer for the testing of materials for compliance with project specifications.
