At least 4/5 years’ experience as duct erector, in offshore / onshore oil & gas Industries, Accommodation buildings, Villas, Hotels etc. Able to communicate in English, Arabic, Hindi Know to read/ work according to scaled drawings following standard fabrication procedures/ ITP, capable of marking layouts, assembly of duct sections and preparing sketches for connection pieces. Knowledgeable in fabricating/ installing duct supporting system (cut duct channels to size, hang the supports to ceiling/walls, etc.). Should have the knowledge of GI, SS, CS & pre-insulated various sections & material available for the ducting erection works. Working knowledge on all types of ducts i.e. square, rectangular, round, flexible etc. To be conversant with their various types of jointing systems, Knowledgeable of installation and erection of ducting, branch connections, reducers & offsets, their internal & external components i.e. sand trap lovers, air flow diverters, supply & return grills, etc. Knowledgeable of installing of duct line items such as fire damper, VCD, split damper, NRD, etc. Ensure all works are performed as per AFC drawings, method statements in coordination with the site supervisor. To be familiar & perform his duties adhering to quality & HSE requirements of the company. to work with 100% safety precautions to personals and the surroundings & using personal protection apparatuses.
