Quality of work Analytical thinking Job Content Job Purpose Connectivity services specialist provides support to day-to-day operations & management of these services: Wide Area Network Internet access and performance Wired/wireless network access Remote access (VPN) Firewall management Access controls Functional Duties (up to 15) 1. Own and maintain the technical and product architecture of Sadara Connectivity environment. 2. Provide designs inputs to meet new and changing Connectivity requirements of Sadara. 3. Maintain the document repository for the scope of services. 4. Provide guidance to other IT functions and projects about their Connectivity requirements. This requires participation as a key project representative to review and influence Connectivity design issues. 5. Provide guidance and recommendations to the Connectivity service team on domain portfolio and catalog, including timing and justification for service changes (introduction, retirement, and upgrade of services, tools and processes). 6. Cover for other members of their team in their absence. 7. Participate and consult in operational decisions and processes, such as resolution of major incidents, problem management, configuration management, change management. 8. Perform any job-related activities as requested by the immediate supervisor/manager. Managerial Duties (up to 5) 1. Manage, plan, direct and control all the activities in the Service Team for development and delivery of Connectivity services to meet business needs. 2. Ensure committed portfolio of services are delivered within agreed constraints. 3.
