Responsibilities Carries out inspections, audits and assessments of environment hazards and unsafe conditions at the work site. Observes compliance by employee to the mines environmental/safety rules & regulations and submits written reports on vialations accordingly. Formulate plans concerning environmental management & protection in the mine with referrence to the companys EMS & government regulations (PME) general environmental law and any additional standards, actions and measures regarding the environment in the mine. Investigates all injury and non-injury accidents as well as envinronmental incidents/non-conformances and determine the causal factor and submit established recommendations to concerned department heads. Inspect/monitors all mine site respect to any matters relating to safety and the environment, existing or new once as well as any new task relative to these issues. Performs other semilar or other related duties as the Mine Manager may assign from time to time. Experience & Qualifications • 5 years' experience in safety engineering, must have experience in the mining industry. • Bachelor of Arts or Bachelor of Science In Mining, Chemical Engineering or a related technical discipline
