Job Description

1. Coordinate daily testing, inspection and maintenance activities of fire protection systems.
2. Report to the Fire Inspection Coordinator on the daily status of impaired fire protection systems.
3. Ensure that site fire protection systems remain in service at all times.
4. Track deficiencies found during inspections and ensure repairs are made.
5. Assist the technical services manager with auditing and root cause investigation of fire protection system failures.
6. Ensure that all testing and inspections of fire protection systems are conducted on schedule and that no past due inspections occur according to NFPA and Sadara Loss Prevention Principals.
7. Communicate fire protection impairments to the Emergency Services operations teams and shifts.
8. Inspection duties include but not limited to, Fire Alarm and Detection, Wet, Foam, Pumps, Hydrants, Monitors, Gas and Life Safety Code Inspections.
9. Perform any job-related activities as requested by the immediate supervisor/manager.
