DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES • Responsible for administrating the complete inbound logistics function of the function • Support the Procurement Team in timely, cost effective and efficient delivery of goods • Plan for all inbound shipment in consultation with the Order Management (Procurement) and Project Management Teams • Liaise with Order management team (Procurement) for getting the material readiness dates • Liaise with Goods Suppliers for all shipping documents as per the purchase order requirements • Advise the appointed Freight Forwarding Company to the supplier • Coordinate between Suppliers and Freight Forwarding Company for timely collection and loading of the material. • Follow up with the Freight Forwarding companies for AWB and BL details. • Track the movement of goods across its transit • Coordinate with Admiration department for authorization letters for shipment clearance and Accounts department for duty payments • Keep the shipment trackers up-to-date with the goods movement. • Develop new suppliers for freight forwarding services. • Prepare the Purchase Orders in SAP system for Inbound Freight Services. • Perform Invoice verification of all Inbound Freight Invoices. • Submit regular reports and ensure that all department Objectives, KPI’s and SLAs are met. EDUCATION & TRAINING This position requires candidate to have a Graduate Degree. COMPETENCIES The candidate shall have around 3 years of experience in handling inbound shipments both domestic and imports in the country of work. WORKING CONDITIONS WORK ENVIRONMENT Job will generally be performed in an office environment, but may require travel IT H/W & S/W o Experience of working in ERP environment is must. Experience of working in SAP environment will be an added advantage o Knowledge of MS office is mandatory.
