• Read and interpret drawings, blueprints, and specifications to determine the type of steel needed. • Understand the income design drawings and ability of extracting part lists for all the drawings. • Prepare shop drawings for the fabrication of steel elements, including dimensions, material types, and connection details (i.e., Welding symbols). • Develop models and detailed drawings of steel structures using computer-aided design (CAD – 2D/3D) software. • Knowledge of inserting the part list to Excel software to show all the outputs (Weights–Surface area). • Coordinate with other members of the construction team to ensure that the steel detailing meets the project requirements. • Review completed projects to identify any errors or areas of improvement • Perform quality control checks on completed drawings.
