"1. Lead, supervise and guide mechanical discipline teams in the preparation and co-ordination of
design, procurement and/or detail drawings ensuring deadlines are met and that work is
completed to the required quality standards.
2. Program, plan and co-ordinate all project activities including the provision of design, procurement
and technical information, ensuring accuracy, completeness and delivery within schedule and
allocated manpower budget

Apply advanced knowledge and skills to develop design concept ensuring that all aspects
technically sound and compatible with brief.
Develops solutions to complex design problems using initiative and own acquired knowledge.
5. Provide supervision and guidance on all design, procurement and technical matters. Review and
resolve interdisciplinary design, procurementand technical issues to ensure the most effective and
efficient design is adopted.

6. Communicate with design coordinator and other lead design engineers to ensure design proceeds
according to plan. Provides design procurement and technical assistance in instances where
modifications or variations are necessary.
7. Liaise with client, site personnel and other departments to ensure that design, procurement and
construction aspects are addressed and resolved
8. Monitor progress and prepare regular reports for management, addressing any significant variances in
manpower budget expenditure together with recommendations for corrective action, if necessary.
9. Working knowledge of 3d modeling software such as Revit
10. Extensive experience in HVAC, plumbing and fire-fighting systems' design and procurement
activities for buildings and external infrastructure systems
11. Proficiency in preparation of material requisitions, technical bid evaluations and material approval
request documents for mechanical systems (such as HVAC systems, firefighting systems,
plumbing systems, water treatment systems, various pumping systems, chilled water systems
etc.)
12. Strong knowledge of local authority requirements and development of pertinent documentation and
drawings
13. Proven experience in construction activities for coordination, resolving issues, installation, testing and
commissioning of buildings'
14. Services (HVAC/PLB/FF) mechanicat systems, underground utility systems, pumping stations etc.
15. Highly skilled in testing and commissioning of HVAC systems which includes balancing of air systems
and water systems
16. Background in fat, sat and close out of snag lists for various mechanical systems (buildings and infra).
17. Supervise external subcontractors and subconsultants for specialized designs, define their scope
and coordinate their interface with project design aspects.
18. Issue recommendations and lessons learnt for each project at completion for the purpose of
enhancing performance and raising awareness of peers."
