"Direct the Personnel at work and report on status of Valve shop activities on daily basis, supervise the disassem bl y, re-assembly and testing of all types of safety/relief valves, isolation valves, motor operated block valve, flow regulating valves, level gauges. / A. Issue necessary spares for replacement and assist in forecasting spare parts req uirement. B. Assess spares for replacement and prepare req u isition. C. Troubleshoot valve problems and carryout necessary maintenance work at shop/ site. D. Carryout field testing of safety I Rel ief valves. E. Maintain log of day to day activities and history records of valves. F. Servicing of general val ves such as gate valves, ball valves, plug valves, motor operated gate valve etc. throttling valves such as globe valves, butterfly valves, etc. of flow regu lating valves such as needle valves, etc. G. Basic knowledge on various repair techniques pertain ing to valve components H. Troubleshooting and deciding on countermeasure maintenance as req uired"
